Already, the Moto G4 and G4 Plus are being called “the best budget smartphones available.”
Both versions come with all the latest and greatest smartphone features, but at a price that won’t break the bank. The Moto G4 starts at just $199, while the Moto G4 Plus comes in at $299.
With two Moto G models on the way, which one is the best for you?

You can’t really go wrong with either choice, but if you want a little extra kick to your smartphone, the Moto G4 Plus may be for you. Both phones come with an excellent, 5.5” full 1080p HD screen. This is great for using your phone outdoors, or in a space with bright lights. Your screen won’t be too hard to see.
Both phones have a 3,000mAh battery, which should give you about 13 hours of all day usage. The Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus are also TurboPower™ ready, which means you can get up to 6 hours of power in just 15 minutes of quick charge.
Both phones also rock an octa-core 1.5GHz processor, so their day-to-day performance is the same. Where things start differing a bit is in the RAM. The Moto G4 comes with 2GB of RAM, while the Moto G4 Plus comes with 4GB. Both options are snappy and fast, but if you’re the type who likes to keep multiple apps open at the same time for heavy-duty multi-tasking, the Moto G4 Plus with 4GB RAM may work better for you.
The Moto G4 Plus also has the added security of a fingerprint sensor. Personally, we LOVE this feature the most. The sensor is on the bottom bezel of the Moto G4 Plus and makes it that much easier to get in and out of your phone when you need to. It may save you mere microseconds, but those add up over the life of your phone!
